Playing For Peace: A Workshop For Adults And Youth Ages 7 & Up

  • Seattle Waldorf High School 7777 62nd Avenue Northeast Seattle, WA, 98115 United States (map)

Emotions are universal—we all experience them. No matter who we are or where we come from, feelings color our inner worlds and inform our choices every single day. They are powerful: emotions can bring us closer, set off arguments, inspire creative ideas, bring about healing or drive us apart.

Yet as influential as feelings are in shaping our lives, surprisingly few of us have the tools and knowledge to engage with them in a productive way, let alone support our children, families and loved ones in doing so.

How would life be different if we knew how to identify, understand and embrace our emotions? What would change in our families and communities if we knew how to respond lovingly to each other’s feelings without judging or reacting?

Join us for a fun afternoon of exploring the mysterious realm of our emotions through playful games and activities! You’ll walk away with useful insights and practical tools for creating more peace in your everyday interactions.
